Dominic Harrison, known professionally as Yungblud, shared the announcement on Instagram, expressing his determination to honour Ozzy and keep his spirit alive. He told The Sunday Times Culture magazine that Ozzy had taught him self-belief and inspired him to show everyone the impact the singer had on his life.

Yungblud spoke openly about the shock of Ozzy’s passing, just two weeks after attending the rocker’s farewell show in Birmingham. He recalled Ozzy’s humour, energy, and generosity, describing him as effervescent and a true human being behind the stage persona. The singer also reflected on the emotional support Ozzy had given him throughout his life.
