At 79 years old, Luisa Yu has achieved her lifelong dream of visiting all 193 countries in the world. Her journey, spanning 56 years, is a testament to the boundless possibilities for those with determination and a passion for exploration. Originally from the Philippines, Yu embarked on her travels at the age of 23 when she journeyed to the United States. During a medical technology exchange programme, she realised her true calling: to see the world. As a result, she decided to change careers and enter the tourism sector.

Over the years, her travels became a remarkable collection of unforgettable experiences. From the idyllic beaches of Zanzibar and treks in Madagascar to extensive tours across Australia, Yu embraced countless memorable moments. In addition, she shared her story on the programme Good Morning America, where a video captured her joy in discovering diverse cultures and landscapes.
