Viewers noted grand double doors with gold detailing, rich red curtains, soft blue wallpaper and an array of framed artwork. Reports suggest the Princess of Wales oversaw much of the décor, with interiors specialist Benji Lewis describing the style as “tastefully discreet”, combining classic English country elements with modern neutral tones.
Forest Lodge is considerably larger than the couple’s former home and includes a ballroom, tennis court and several cottages for staff and security. Its generous rooms and tall windows are said to bring an abundance of natural light, contributing to a calm yet contemporary feel. The thoughtful use of features such as Perspex door plates helps preserve the home’s immaculate finish.

According to the Daily Mail, the Prince and Princess of Wales are expected to remain at Forest Lodge for the long term, including when William eventually becomes king.
