The brothers’ last face-to-face meeting with their father was over 18 months ago, following the King’s cancer diagnosis, and their interaction lasted just over 30 minutes. Both William and Harry were present at their uncle Lord Fellowes’ funeral in 2024, though reports suggested no contact between them. During his visit, Harry plans to engage with key stakeholders, community groups, and young artists at Nottingham’s Community Recording Studio (CRS), highlighting grassroots initiatives and charitable projects, including Epic Partners and Coach Core, a sports apprenticeship programme originally founded by William, Harry, and the Princess of Wales’s joint Royal Foundation.
Meanwhile, William will visit Spiral Skills in London, an organisation supported by his Homewards homelessness initiative, which recently relocated to a new hub at The Oasis Village, Tulse Hill. The prince will meet young people, attend workshops with Young Creators UK, and be joined by former England midfielder Fara Williams, learning how the organisation provides early intervention, employability skills, and access to opportunities for 14–25-year-olds. On Wednesday, he will travel to Cardiff to open a new mental health hub at the Principality Stadium, run by the Jac Lewis Foundation, coinciding with World Suicide Prevention Day. The hub will provide weekly support for at-risk individuals, with William meeting Jac’s family, friends, and local sports figures.

Despite past public tensions and Harry’s accusations against the King, Queen, William, and the Princess of Wales in his memoir Spare, his documentary, and the Oprah interview, he has expressed a desire for reconciliation. Senior aides to the King and Harry were pictured together in London in July, reportedly signalling initial steps toward dialogue. Harry has acknowledged that some family members may never forgive him but emphasised his hope to end the disputes and rebuild relationships, stating there is “no point in continuing to fight anymore.”
