Imani shared an emotional letter to her father on Instagram, describing him as her “biggest hype man, protector, musical inspiration, and the best father anyone could have.” She added that no one could ever measure up to his bravery and selflessness.
The 26-year-old reflected on the moments she wished she had shared with D’Angelo, from playing piano together to enjoying their favourite meals. She described him as a “one-of-a-kind soul” and said she was grateful to have been his daughter.
