Prue Leith has openly admitted that she won’t be tuning into Meghan Markle’s new lifestyle show. During an appearance on Good Morning Britain, the 85-year-old judge from The Great British Bake Off made her views clear, dismissing the Duchess of Sussex’s upcoming series, With Love, Meghan. When asked about the show, Leith remarked, “I’ve only read about it, but I honestly wouldn’t watch it.”

The renowned cook, known for her candid remarks, didn’t hold back in explaining her disinterest in the show. She expressed her dislike for its focus on “touchy-feely mindfulness” and commented on the general content, which she feels is too preoccupied with superficial concerns. “I’m not a Meghan Markle fan,” Leith said bluntly. “All that sort of touchy-feely mindfulness, endless worrying about what creams you put on your hands… I just think there’s more to life than how you look and how your friends think of you.”
Leith also admitted that her comments might not sit well with some of her fans. “I think I may have alienated half my fans,” she said, acknowledging the potential backlash from her honesty. While Markle’s show has been met with mixed reviews, Leith’s direct critique adds another layer to the ongoing conversation surrounding the Duchess’s public ventures.

Meanwhile, Markle has also announced her return to podcasting, revealing a new series titled Confessions of a Female Founder. Set to launch on April 8, the podcast will follow her reflections and experiences as an entrepreneur. This announcement comes just a week after her Netflix series, With Love, Meghan, premiered to a less-than-enthusiastic reception from critics, who have branded it everything from “pointless” to “an exercise in narcissism”. Despite the mixed reviews, the series has already been renewed for a second season.
