Pamela Anderson has expressed her delight at indulging her passion for jazz music in the new comedy The Naked Gun. The 58-year-old actress, who plays Beth Davenport alongside Liam Neeson, revealed she thoroughly enjoyed singing with a jazz band in one memorable scene. Pamela told People magazine that having been a scat soloist in school and a saxophone player, the role felt like a perfect fit for her talents.

Reflecting on the experience, Pamela shared how much she loved performing the scat vocals. She explained, “It was scripted, not just improvised, and I still can’t get it out of my head. I remember the entire song.” The scene left a lasting impression on her, highlighting her genuine enthusiasm for jazz music and performance.

Earlier this month, Pamela also spoke about the importance of courage in an actor’s career. In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, she revealed that she performs best when feeling “terrified,” describing this nervous energy as her “happy place.” She emphasised how acting, singing, and performing are ways to express deep emotions that might otherwise be repressed, particularly for artists.

Pamela further disclosed that her performance in The Naked Gun drew from her own life experiences. The actress, best known for her role as C.J. Parker in Baywatch, said the lyrics she sang were connected to her personal thoughts and memories. This, she noted, made the performance more than just delivering lines — it was a heartfelt expression of her inner self.
