Nicole Scherzinger has confirmed that she and her fiancé Thom Evans intend to marry in Hawaii “soon”. The 47-year-old singer announced her engagement to the former Scottish rugby player in 2023, but the pair have yet to set a date due to her demanding role in the Broadway production of Sunset Boulevard. She explained that the show had taken up the past two years of her life, yet she remains excited to plan their big day in the place where she was born, with her father ready to officiate.

The Don’t Cha star revealed that Evans hopes to honour his heritage by wearing a Scottish kilt for the ceremony, something she believes will make the occasion even more special. Scherzinger described the romance between a man from Scotland and a woman from a small Pacific island as feeling “like some Disney fairytale”.
Despite her partner’s athletic lifestyle and striking looks, Scherzinger joked that she still manages to get plenty of sleep next to her “hot” fiancé. She said she even finds herself motivated to exercise just to watch him run, comparing him to a “Greek God”.

In June, Scherzinger admitted that her theatre schedule had prevented any real wedding planning so far. Speaking to HELLO! magazine, she said Broadway required her full attention and energy, adding that she was grateful to have such an understanding and supportive partner by her side.
