The Australian actor, who recently confirmed their engagement on social media, shared that he took time away from filming The Witcher to ask the question, having spent the past two years working on the Netflix series. Speaking on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, he explained that although he had purchased the ring, he waited for a natural and meaningful opportunity to propose.

The 35-year-old confirmed that Brooks accepted, noting simply, “She said yes.” As filming commitments delayed celebrations, the couple later marked the occasion with a trip to the Maldives once Hemsworth wrapped production. Hemsworth has stepped into the lead role of Geralt of Rivia, taking over from Henry Cavill in the upcoming season of the fantasy drama.
Brooks, who has been in a relationship with Hemsworth since 2019, has previously described their partnership as “sacred” and emphasised the importance of privacy. In an interview with Stellar magazine, she said she values keeping aspects of their life together away from the public eye, despite understanding the curiosity surrounding their relationship.
