Date:

Leona Lewis is taking extensive measures to protect her voice ahead of her upcoming Las Vegas residency, A Starry Night, which will run at Voltaire at The Venetian from November to January. The singer explained she is adapting her home environment to maintain high humidity, using misters and humidifiers to ensure healthy vocal conditions. She joked that visitors will feel as though they’ve stepped into “Jurassic Park” due to the moisture-filled atmosphere.

The chart-topper revealed that the intimacy of the venue was a major attraction, noting that performing up close to fans creates a stronger connection. She highlighted the unique opportunity to engage directly with audiences while showcasing her vocals in a more personal setting.

Lewis has said she will take inspiration from Adele’s successful Las Vegas shows, not only through vocal performance but by sharing stories and personal experiences between songs. With two decades in the music industry since she won The X Factor, she intends to reflect on the journey that shaped her career and the meaning behind her music.

Feeling “very proud” to follow in the footsteps of major British artists such as Elton John and Adele, Lewis expressed excitement at representing her Hackney roots on such a significant stage. Her family will join her in Las Vegas to support her and help care for her daughter, allowing the star to fully embrace the residency while staying grounded in home life.
