Jesse Metcalfe has shared his thoughts on his past relationship with Vanderpump Rules star Scheana Shay, describing her as a “super sweet girl”. The 46-year-old actor dated Scheana briefly in 2007 and revealed they still cross paths occasionally at events. Despite this, Jesse expressed surprise – and some regret – at being mentioned in her recently published memoir. Speaking to E! News, he said: “I guess it’s a story worthy of print, but it’s not a story for me.”

Jesse, who has been in a relationship with Helene Immel since 2023, admitted he was taken aback by the resurfacing of their old romance. “I was like, ‘This again?’ It was a really, really long time ago,” he said. In the book, Scheana reminisced about being taken shopping for “whatever [she] wanted” at a department store by Jesse – a moment he insists he doesn’t recall. “I don’t remember. I don’t remember what I did yesterday,” he joked.
Scheana described their time together as a “real-life fantasy”, recalling cosy dinners with Jesse’s family and being serenaded with songs like Hey There Delilah. At the time, she viewed the relationship as surreal, given Jesse’s television and film fame. Despite the fond memories shared, Jesse seemed content to leave the past in the past and focus on his present.

Separately, Scheana has been navigating personal challenges in her current marriage. She recently revealed that her husband, Brock Davies, was unfaithful during her pregnancy with their daughter, Summer Moon. Speaking on her Scheananigans podcast, she admitted she didn’t feel “strong enough” at the time to speak publicly about the betrayal. “I wasn’t about to start unravelling all of this on camera before I had even processed what it meant for our marriage, for our daughter, for our entire life,” she explained.
