Jeremy Clarkson has received an outpouring of support from fans after sharing a relationship update with his partner, Lisa Hogan. The former Top Gear and Grand Tour presenter began dating the Irish former actress in 2017. Today, the pair are widely recognised for their appearances on the Amazon Prime series Clarkson’s Farm, where Hogan oversees the on-site farm shop. In an Instagram post shared on Monday, 8 December, Clarkson marked nine years to the day since the couple began dating. Hogan playfully quipped that they were celebrating “900 years”.
Fans were quick to offer congratulations, with many saying they feel they’ve come to know the couple through the show. One follower commented: “I remember the first day you brought her into the office to meet us. You still look at her that way after all these years.” Another added: “Punching, Mr Clarkson — but can’t fault you. She’s amazing. Best wishes to you both.” Earlier this year, Hogan spoke about their relationship in an interview with the Daily Mail. She said she avoids arguing with Clarkson, explaining: “I’m more conniving than that. Why argue with someone like Jeremy? He’s so eloquent. I have to be a bit more… nimble. I like the long-term diplomatic approach.”
The pair first met at a drinks party hosted by a mutual friend, though Hogan admitted she was more familiar with Clarkson’s newspaper columns — written for The Sun and The Sunday Times — than with his television work.
