Jennifer Lawrence plans to have cosmetic surgery after second child

Date:

Jennifer Lawrence has revealed she is planning to undergo a breast enhancement procedure following the birth of her second child earlier this year. The Oscar-winning actor told The New Yorker that she has pencilled in the surgery for November, explaining that her body has changed since her most recent pregnancy with husband Cooke Maroney.

“Everything bounced back, pretty much, after the first one,” she said, referring to her first pregnancy with her son Cy. “Second one, nothing bounced back.” Lawrence added that she intends to film a nude scene next spring, around a year after giving birth, but insisted she would still go ahead with the procedure even if she were not in the public eye. “Maybe I wouldn’t be hustling to the appointment in the same way,” she joked. “But I think yes.”

The actor, who has not yet publicly confirmed the name of her second child, appeared to hint at it last month. Page Six published photographs of her keyring showing alphabet beads spelling out “Cy” and “Louie”, leading fans to speculate that her newborn son may be named Louie.

Discussing her attitude towards cosmetic treatments, Lawrence said she avoids fillers because they are visible on camera but admitted she would consider other procedures in the future. “Believe me, I’m gonna!” she said with a laugh, referring to the possibility of having a facelift later in life.
