Actors Brandon Routh and Rachael Leigh Cook have reportedly begun a relationship, after being spotted holding hands following a cinema outing in Los Angeles over the weekend. The sighting has fuelled speculation about the pair’s romantic status, especially as it follows a previous appearance together earlier this year.

In February, the duo were photographed dining at HomeGrown, a well-known restaurant in Des Moines, Iowa. Their shared history includes starring in multiple Hallmark Channel productions and they are both scheduled to appear at Christmas Con, a convention dedicated to festive film fans, in December, as reported by People magazine.
Routh gained fame playing Superman in the 2006 film Superman Returns, and later portrayed Ray Palmer, also known as The Atom, in the popular Arrowverse television series. He was married to fellow actor Courtney Ford until the couple filed for divorce in January this year. They have one son, born in 2012.

Cook is best known for her roles in the late 1990s and early 2000s, particularly in She’s All That and Josie and the Pussycats. She was previously married to The Vampire Diaries star Daniel Gillies, with whom she shares two children. The pair separated in 2019. While neither Cook nor Routh has publicly commented on their relationship, their recent outings continue to draw attention from fans and media alike.
