Billy Ray Cyrus and Elizabeth Hurley have been enjoying a blossoming romance since going public in April. The 64-year-old music star and the 60-year-old actress have been together for over six months, with sources telling People that their relationship has remained “real from the beginning” and is continuing to flourish.

Despite having very different personalities, the couple appears genuinely happy together. An insider said: “They’re very different, but it works. They’re so cute together. It’s the kind of connection that surprises people but makes perfect sense when you spend time with them. Liz is very happy.”
Hurley recently revealed that she is delighted not only with her relationship but also that her son Damian, 23, has met Billy Ray’s daughter Miley Cyrus, 32, and that the children get along well. Speaking to The Sunday Times, she said: “Billy Ray is fabulous. We’re very happy, very happy … Damian and Miley have met, Billy’s kids are great, and Billy has spent a lot of time with Damian. Everyone loves everyone, it’s lovely.”

Though Elizabeth is based in the UK and Billy Ray lives in Tennessee, the couple enjoys spending time together across both sides of the Atlantic. Hurley commented: “He loves England. The weather is nicer here in the summer than it is in Tennessee.” She added that Billy’s home near Nashville reminds her of England, saying: “He lives 40 minutes outside of Nashville. It’s so beautiful. Funnily enough, it actually looks a lot like England. Probably the equivalent of Surrey.”
