Welsh actor Ioan Gruffudd and his wife, Bianca Wallace, have announced the arrival of their first child together. The couple, who married in April 2025, revealed that their daughter, Mila Mae Gruffudd, was born a month early on 2 November. In a joint Instagram post, they expressed that they were “completely and totally in love” with their “tiny little angel”.

Gruffudd, best known for portraying Reed Richards in the Fantastic Four film series, confirmed his relationship with Wallace in 2021, sharing a photograph of them together and thanking her for “making me smile again”. The pair also star in A Ray of Sunshine, a drama centred on a woman navigating life following a multiple sclerosis diagnosis — a condition Wallace has lived with since the age of 25.
The actor’s personal life had previously attracted media attention when, in 2021, he filed for divorce from actress Alice Evans. Their separation made headlines earlier that year after Evans posted, and later deleted, a tweet claiming that Gruffudd was leaving her and their two children. The former couple had met while working on the 2000 film 102 Dalmatians and married in 2007.

Gruffudd, who hails from Aberdare, has built an extensive screen career with roles in Black Hawk Down, Titanic, Horrible Bosses and San Andreas. On television, he has starred in ITV’s thriller Liar as Andrew Earlham and portrayed a forensic pathologist in the ABC drama Harrow.
