Jon Bon Jovi has hinted that he hopes to follow in the footsteps of his friend Bruce Springsteen by having a biopic made about his life “at some point”. The Boss recently released Deliver Me From Nowhere, starring Jeremy Allen White as the rock icon, and Jovi has joked that his son Jake Bongiovi, 23, would be the ideal choice to play him on screen. However, the 63-year-old emphasised he is far from finished with his own story yet, insisting: “I’m not in my final chapter. I’m living my next chapter.”

The musician has just collaborated with Springsteen on a duet of Hollow Man, featured on the band’s new Forever (Legendary Edition) album, which includes reimagined versions of tracks from their 2024 release. Alongside the new music, Bon Jovi have confirmed plans for their Forever Tour.
The tour will mark the band’s first live shows in the UK and Ireland since 2019, and Jon’s first performances since undergoing vocal cord surgery. New York, Edinburgh, Dublin and London are among the stops in summer 2026, with venues including Murrayfield Stadium, Croke Park and Wembley Stadium. Sharing his excitement, Jovi said he felt “deeply grateful” to fans and his bandmates for giving him the time he needed to recover fully and prepare to return to the stage.

Jon’s vocal struggles and subsequent rehabilitation were covered in the Hulu documentary series Thank You, Goodnight: The Bon Jovi Story. Although he was able to record comfortably in the studio, he admitted that the physical demands of touring had initially been “out of reach” following his surgery. Now, with recovery behind him and new music ahead, the frontman is ready to embrace what he calls his “next chapter”.
