Nick Ferrari, one of Britain’s most outspoken broadcasters, is reportedly in discussions to join the upcoming series of I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! The LBC host, 66, is said to be in negotiations for a lucrative deal with producers keen to secure his presence in the jungle.

Ferrari has long been recognised as an incisive and sometimes combative radio interviewer, while also becoming a familiar face on ITV’s This Morning, where he contributes regularly as a commentator. A source quoted by The Sun claimed producers believe he would bring both entertainment and political insight, remarking that “he knows everyone in politics so he would have a wealth of Westminster gossip around the campfire”. Neither Ferrari nor ITV has yet commented on the reports.

Away from broadcasting, Ferrari recently married his long-term partner Clare Patterson in a civil ceremony at Old Marylebone Town Hall, followed by a celebration in the south of France. The couple, who have been together for a decade, were joined by close friends including Christopher Biggins, Myleene Klass and Piers Morgan. Ferrari revealed he proposed to Clare, a radio producer 15 years his junior, last Christmas at their favourite restaurant.

The veteran broadcaster began his career at his father’s agency, Ferrari Press, before moving on to The Sun and The Mirror and later establishing himself on television and radio. Alongside his LBC show, he has appeared on The Pledge for Sky News, Richard & Judy, London Tonight and BBC London News. Ferrari also has two sons with his former wife, Sandra Phylis Conolly.
