Beverley Callard is set to return to I’m A Celebrity All Stars, travelling to South Africa for the latest series. The 68-year-old actress, best known as Liz McDonald in Coronation Street, previously appeared on the show in Wales, which she described as a tough but enjoyable experience. A source told The Sun: “When the chance came up to fly to South Africa and have a second spin of the wheel she jumped at the chance.”

The soap star is determined to progress far in the All Stars series. “She is out there now filming and will be trying her best to make it through to the final,” the source added. Beverley’s return is expected to be one of the highlights of the upcoming season, bringing both experience and a strong fan following to the camp.
Earlier this month, it was revealed that Sir Mo Farah will also compete in the All Stars edition. The former Olympic champion first appeared on I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! in 2020 at Gwrych Castle, Wales, during the COVID-19 pandemic. ITV bosses reportedly consider him an ideal candidate due to his competitive nature.

Mo has explained his motivation for joining the show again. “I’ve watched it on telly and thought to myself, I would like to challenge myself and see what I can do,” he said. He hopes to enjoy the experience despite being out of his comfort zone, adding that his children encouraged him to take part. “I want to have fun in the camp,” he concluded.
