Official records confirm that the former EastEnders star has submitted a petition for insolvency, attributed to an outstanding debt owed to a finance company.

This financial development follows the recent sale of her family home in Surrey at a significantly reduced price, having dropped £250,000 from its £1.5 million valuation. According to MailOnline, the bankruptcy order was issued under her married name, Martine McManus, by the County Court in Guildford in March. It was instigated by LDF Finance, although the total amount owed has not been disclosed.
This is the second time McCutcheon has been declared bankrupt, with the first occurring in February 2013 at the High Court in London. At that time, reports claimed she was earning over £250,000 annually. She was discharged from that bankruptcy in January 2014.
