Home and Away actor Jason Smith has shared joyful news of a new addition to his family. The Australian star, who portrayed Robbie Hunter on the long-running soap from 2003 to 2006 and later featured in the Power Rangers franchise, revealed on social media that his family has grown. Jason and his partner, Cassidy Creevey, posted on Instagram: “So excited to introduce our beautiful daughter and Felix’s baby sister, Luka. 24.04.25. So proud of our family.” The couple also shared a touching black-and-white photograph of newborn Luka, wrapped up and receiving a cuddle.

The announcement was warmly received, with many friends and fans offering their congratulations. Among those commenting were Australian comedian and YouTuber Natalie Tran, Liam Hemsworth’s girlfriend Gabriella Brooks, singer Madi K, and Chris Hemsworth’s friend and assistant Aaron Grist. Jason and Cassidy first became parents in 2023, when they welcomed their son, Felix. The couple’s update has been widely celebrated across social media.
Jason’s career has extended beyond acting over the years. In addition to his television roles, he has released several songs, hosted a radio show, and produced behind-the-scenes specials for Home and Away. He has also written episodes for both Home and Away and a later season of Power Rangers. More recently, he has worked as a producer on the Australian versions of The Masked Singer and Big Brother, as well as on the 2021 series of the American game show Name That Tune, which was filmed in Australia during COVID-19 restrictions.

Home and Away continues to air weekdays at 1.45pm on Channel 5 in the UK, with repeat showings at 6pm and first-look episodes at 6.30pm on 5STAR. Selected classic episodes are also available via Prime Video. In Australia, the soap airs Mondays to Thursdays at 7pm on Channel 7 and streams on 7Plus.
